Almost there...

I'm waiting in Amsterdam for my connection to Delhi right now. The flight here was great and I have to admit, KLM (Royal Dutch Airlines) is a great airline. The absurdly flat countryside looked gorgeous from the airplane window and I just wish I could leave the airport and go explore the city, even for just a few hours, but thats an adventure that will have to wait till another day.

Despite everyone's skepticism, I am fully packed up and ready to go. Even Reed was impressed as he drove me to the airport this morning (or at least it feels like this morning... i didnt sleep on the plane from JFK to here and now my sense of time is all skrewed up). By the way, thanks so much man, I'm so lucky to have such a great friend, and sorry you had to deal with all that traffic. But seriously, I am so prepared its crazy and definitely not typical of me.

Can't wait to arrive in Delhi though, I'll let you know how it goes as soon as I get the chance. The plan is for Feldman to pick me up from the arrivals section of Delhi, so hopefully he'll be there when I land. For those who don't know, Mike Feldman and I will be traveling around India for the next month. I can't really believe its actually happening, but I'm sure it will hit me pretty hard as I walk out of the Delhi airport and come face to face with the mob of determined taxi drivers, beggars, and people trying to scam me. Should be fun! Cya,

NPW
